VR is rentable, refundable, non-expensive (in multiple versions), and easily accessed around the world for use. National Vision wants to take advantage of this bridge between Heritage and Technology to create a new era of visiting our past.
The headsets enable a 360-degree view, providing a sense of presence and realism that enhances the connection to the cultural heritage being showcased. Users can look around, observe intricate details, and feel like they are physically present in the historical locations.
Our Approach
To bring Saudi Arabia's heritage sites to life, we decided to incorporate virtual reality technology. By using VR headsets, visitors can explore these sites in a way that was never before possible. Our goal was to make these sites accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical ability to visit them in person. Through the use of VR, we hope to inspire a new generation to appreciate and preserve these important cultural landmarks.
